Oregon’s Wild Harvest is a holistic, sustainable and responsible grower and producer of Certified Organic herbal products with an herb farm in Sandy, Oregon. David Stelzer, Azure Standard CEO, met Randy Buresh some 16 years ago. Randy remembers their original conversation—about organic farming, protecting the earth, creating quality products and a belief in conducting business without compromising any one of these—and how quickly he knew his values were shared by the man across the table. It was as perfect a fit then as it is today.
Throughout the family-owned company’s history, their philosophy has been fueled by a desire to naturally heal the body and the earth. Certified Organic by Oregon Tilth since its inception in 1994, Oregon’s Wild Harvest offers more than 200 pure, safe and effective medicinal herbal supplements and products, many manufactured within minutes of harvest just steps from where they were grown. The quality of each product is tested by highly trained scientists, and maintained by a Quality Assurance department that oversees every step in the processing, manufacturing and production of each supplement. By following strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines, Oregon’s Wild Harvest is able to guarantee the purity and identity of all plant material, providing their customers with effective herbal supplements.
Since 2009, Oregon’s Wild Harvest’s Sandy farm has been Demeter® Certified Biodynamic® which is considered one of the original forms and highest grade of organic farming. To achieve Biodynamic® certification, the entire farm is treated as a living organism, making it a sustainable and self-nourishing ecosystem. This holistic approach to farming improves the health of the soil and the plants grown in it by creating a growing environment that’s ideal for producing the highest nutrient values possible with one of the smallest carbon footprints of any agricultural method.
